  GUCCI

  Gucci is an iconic fashion giant and is one of the most widely recognized fashion brands in the world. Their style stays true to their traditional Italian roots as a horseback saddler and leather works. Guccio Gucci arrived on the fashion scene in Rome in 1938. Gucci introduced the bamboo handle bag which was an instant hit. Additionally, the trademark horsebit and Gucci print were introduced as inspired by their horse saddles. Those bamboo, horsebit, and GG monogram printed styles can still be seen in the Gucci eyewear collection today.

  The company's first fragrance, Gucci No. 1 for women, was introduced in 1974. A series of fragrances for men and women have since been launched, with many taking legendary status amongst perfume collectors, including Gucci 3 and L'Arte di Gucci. Tom Ford served as the company's creator director in mid-90s through the early 21st century. Creative director Frida Giannini has been at the helm since 2005.

She developed love towards fashion design since she was a little girl and pursued it with her education at L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Apliquées, Paris in 2004. Then she made her way to be the Assistant Designer for Men’s Collection in Marithé + François Girbaud and working as Assistant Designer for Felipe Oliveira Baptista in the following year.
